WLAC 2020

49th Season  - Changes in the Season
Picture
As in nature, seasons change. Tho ours typically changes year to year, this season has proven to be more chaotic than usual. So here's the weather report as it currently stands for the rest of the year (check back often as it's always changing!):

SEPTEMBER = The Tree, teen drama written & directed by WTYC's own Erin Jones | Streaming Online

OCTOBER = Feeling the spirit of Halloween, we've prepared a few fun shorts that we will be posting online for free. We will also be livestreaming a ghost tour of the theatre on Halloween night on Facebook. Check the Facebook Event Page for more details. | Streaming Online

NOVEMBER = TBD, Going to be testing a new concept of "Readers Theatre" and possibly more. Details coming soon! | Live

DECEMBER = A Doublewide, Texas Christmas, a Jones, Hope, Wooten comedy | TBD (we'll see which way the wind is blowing and announce plans when we can)

Online productions will be made available to watch through Tickets to the City.

As the productions grow closer, we will create pages with more details and links to where you can watch. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding throughout this pandemic as we work to bring you more entertainment!
When we decided to move forward with productions as businesses slowly reopened, it was in hopes that the Covid-19 case numbers would have remained on the decline and under control. That has not transpired and instead we find ourselves where we are today with case numbers in Texas rapidly rising at an alarming rate.

As much as you were looking forward to our production of A Doublewide Texas Christmas, we were just as excited to be putting it on for you! Once we feel we can safely reopen,
A Doublewide, Texas Christmas
will be the first show and should be the shot of laughter we all need after all of this. You will know as soon as we do when that day will be! Till then please continue to stay safe. Thank you for your understanding and patience.  Rest assured, we are monitoring the numbers in Texas and look forward to a time, hopefully soon, when we can resume our productions in a prudent manner.

We will be working on some digital content in the meantime. Stay tuned for details!

Stay Informed.
