FALL Theatre Classes.

Reservations for enrollment to our 2022 Fall Youth Classes are open! Alyssa Bain and Merissa Davis will be joining us to teach. Classes will begin on October 10th and run once a week for seven weeks. Classes will be split between Beginner (Mondays) and Advanced (Tuesdays). Each class will run from 4:30pm to 6:00pm each day.

Studies show that not only does theatre improve student’s sense of community, but improves their overall school performance. While the classes are fun, they also help develop their creative thinking and problem-solving skills. We strive to provide our youth with a fun, engaging environment that enhances their growth as thespians and as people

THE TEACHERS:
Alyssa Bain grew up at the Warehouse Living Arts Center performing in shows and attending summer camp. She eventually started interning as the Children's Company Assistant Director. She directed summer camps as well as musicals. Since then, she has received her Bachelor's degree in Theatre from UNT and has been teaching in public school. She is currently the head theatre director at CHS and continues to teach summer camp at the Warehouse.

Merissa Davis grew up at the Warehouse Living Arts Center performing in shows and working backstage. She has always loved doing costumes, hair, and makeup as well as stage managing. She has also assisted her sister Alyssa on many school productions. She went to school at Navarro College to study education. She just recently left Corsicana Middle School, but is very excited to get back into teaching through fall classes at the Warehouse!

Our Fall Youth Theatre Classes will cover many facets of the theatre to provide a well rounded understanding of roles and talents needed on and off stage to put on a production. We are excited to be offering these classes taught by these talented teachers!
